Our story
Built by Clarissa Carsten in 2019.
Clarissa Carsten Specialized Services (Pty) Ltd (CCSS) is a specialist hospitality, conferencing, event operations and integrated venue-management company with extensive experience in executive hospitality environments, convention-centre operations, stadium events, diplomatic protocol engagements, international conferencing, large-scale public-event coordination and premium guest-experience management.
CCSS is led by Clarissa Carsten, a nationally recognised hospitality and conference industry professional with more than 35 years of experience in executive hospitality, international conferences, governmental protocol operations, convention-centre management, VIP and VVIP hospitality, MICE-sector development, stadium-event coordination and integrated venue operations.
Clarissa Carsten currently serves as a National Board Member of the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI), one of South Africa's leading professional bodies representing the meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions and business-events sector. Her appointment to the SAACI National Board reflects national industry recognition, professional leadership, governance capability and active participation in advancing South Africa's MICE and hospitality industry.
CCSS is a Level 1 B-BBEE Contributor and a 100% Black Woman-Owned company. The company is positioned as an integrated hospitality and venue-operations partner capable of supporting DHL Stadium's premium hospitality, conference, event-activation and guest-experience environment.

From local and international conferences, presidential visits and exhibitions, to weddings, awards ceremonies, production and full facility management, our work has always been about creating "a fulfilling and purposeful experience" for the people we host.
Today CCSS also operates two managed facilities - Springbok Guest Farm and Platfontein Lodge & Conference Centre - giving clients a seamless, end-to-end venue and events offering under one team.
